Makes a weak point, gets called out on it, retracts said point.
If he thinks it was a premeditated action, stick to it and develop the thought. Humans have everything to gain and nothing to lose by sticking with their gut and developing theories on people. Wolves just want to maintain public relations. His retraction was just as weak as his initial assertion. I don't buy it.
Ok, at this point I'm not going to postpone my posts after the whole read. I'm barely skimming through the first thread and thoughts are coming rushing. I had actually built a strat for no-lynching but forgot that lynches are obligatory, OH WELL.
I'm going to upset some of you here but, so far, but Afro's really only the one I've seen reaching to solicit players, which is, imo, the right tactic early on. It's not that producing suspicions isn't worthwhile, after all, it's the basic component of every vanilla game. But I'd say it doesn't get us far to observe an empty table, get your heads in there. We're looking at a game with a lot of detracting attention from the wolves, and a lot of analyzing from the town. Not far from manhunting but with the additional benefit that wolves nearly can't do shit to influence the targets. At least, it shouldn't sway the bomber's. So right there, I'm retracting my comment about making it an open discussion with the bomber, because I think we'd get some significantly better results for him to conclude by himself. That way, we get the thoughts of the collectivity, and ones of the individuals.
I'm not interested in looking too much about what suspicions consist of too much, but I'm looking to solidify their basis, or rather, to consider what drives you into thinking somebody smells. Myself, I'm thinking scum isn't in a disposition to be making false leads or decoys early, however, I'm sure to be on the lookout those playing on the outside. Although we have the upper hand, it's not to be disregarded that we might just lose it, and that means through number superiority. It's a fast win. Best case scenario, we need to be nailing a wolf until next phase. Does it really mean much? No. But it's probably good to be feeling a bit of urgency here.
I feel like this is one of the longest posts I've ever read that doesn't actually say anything.
crazyjade
ps lol tps was totally drunk or something last night
Anyway, tps, I think it would be more damning if he made that mistake but then stuck to his guns regardless. I'm not THAT worried about dabackpack, he seemed pretty genuine.

this isn't a case if me having a weak assertion. I realized I was actually WRONG about something and took it back when I realized. Are you saying I should keep pretending when I see a critical flaw in my reasoning? Because that's a stupid thing to do.

Anyway, I was going to expand on my vote behind DaBackpack. But it seems TPS said it very simply and concise. We still have 4 hours until deadline, and I'm not planning on going anywhere. So hit me up if you have something useful to develop.
who else is a wolf if you think that backpack is 100% a wolf

You know, that's actually what I'm taking a look at now. DaBackpack is a weird subject regarding that because he's made very little interaction with anyone save for TPS, Afro and I. I may be missing a few details, but if he were a wolf, he's kept his distance. I've already agreed that Afro is playing the shotgun human, trying to piss everyone off and make himself look vulnerable sort of like bait. TPS has been calling people out and made a few connections iirc. As for anyone else really, mostly nulls. Few small leans but nothing significant.
Also I failed to deliver that text message log because I went to get my dad from the airport and sat on the side of the highway for 3 hours with a dead alternator. Fuck life.
See the thing is, you've distanced yourself rather well if you are wolf. You're only interactions were with TPS, Afro and I. As I have stated. Telling me that lynching is a big mistake isn't even a defense.
