Just got back from watching it myself.

I'm kind of in the same boat as DragonIIDX on this one, although I never really got around to watching the older versions of the movie because I'm not the kind for older shows & movies for some reason. Call me prejudice.

That's understandable though. The special effects have come a long way since then heh. I've seen most of the old Godzilla movies when I was a kid, but I don't remember them a whole lot since I haven't seen them in so long.

I did buy and watch King Kong vs Godzilla like a week prior to this, and they did show him a little more. It's not that I didn't like the 2014 one, it's just I thought they didn't show him much at all even compared to the older movies, and the fight between him and the muto's didn't last very long. Whereas the fight between Godzilla and King Kong lasted longer than just a few short minutes.

I'm not overly excited it got a sequel, but I'm definitely not disappointed either cause it was pretty cool to see a Godzilla movie with the modern special effects we have now. Just hope it shows him and the fights a little more in the next one.
