I've tried multiple times to step autechre (see on see, tuinorizn, eutow, surripere, plyphon) but this one has been stuck on my mind for a while

no, they aren't. I haven't though of using these! Actually, if you look very closely, one of the source images is the same (but rotated and recolored) as the one i used for cetaka's carpet muncher though :P

Thought it would be cool to have that hidden reference to another Autechre song in the graphics.

Gantz Graf is such a cool video, seems like a treasure trove for generic SM background shapes lol

For sure it is, but pausing videos, even if in HD, makes for poor sharpness and often comes with video artifacts and excessive blur
