oh i was just saying that the skill in D5 currently is extremely broad currently, and it's not like lots of D5ers were shifted to D6 tom compensate. It just seems like quite a few people seem better fitted to a D4 with a slightly higher top range compared to a D5 where they are currently faaaaaar from the top. if this shouldn't be talked about in the thread i'll stop now, just my 2 cents

There are D5ers shifted to D6, there's also 227 people still not on the dashboard. But yeah placement conversations are better left in private generally. (It's also not my tourney this year, I don't make the calls on this stuff. Just voicing that the structure of the tourney itself is a little different this year with extra division and raw scoring).

At least it means I'm not so bad I can't play in anything except D1, lol.

If it's not too late, I'm requesting a division switch to D7. I know there will be no token or credits awarded, but I would like to be in D7 for this tournament because I want to see how well I can do in D5 without the pressure of being in D5. If it's too late, that's fine 'cuz I'll stay in D5.

505 was the total signups but I think there's a few that might need to be removed due to not having the required amount of game plays.

The tournament signups closed last night with a total of 505 participants --13 of which did not meet the 250 games played requirement at the time of their registration. The play count of these players will of course be further inspected on wednesday night and alternate accounts will be taken into consideration.

I don't remember what the other officials got in terms of sign-up numbers. How well did this one do in comparison?

I don't recall all the old exact numbers. The very first one I hosted had over 600 players, the one Jae hosted I can't remember. This has more than the most recent which was somewhere in the upper 400s. When it comes to tourneys in the way past you're talking about 1000s in those.

There's just so much to consider now with an extra division and raw scoring. I wouldn't count on placements being solid until tomorrow. It's gonna be a looooooooooooooooong night.
