By this logic we should remove token level stats altogether and make all songs part of public level stats.
actually, yes.
the only things i wouldn't want to see appear on public level stats is vrofl and p4u v1. there might be some other files that i am forgetting, but you get the idea.
same argument can be made about other FSOs and high FGOs
The line has to be drawn somewhere~

right, and if you remove rato and dp from level ranks and AAA everything else, it is saying you accomplished everything even though you didn't.
Who goes around saying they've accomplished everything in the first place? Might be since I play the game more casually, I just don't understand you viewing this game as a completion game~

Ah, well this is when the argument turns into having level ranks on songs you can't change because you haven't unlocked the song.
Removing all of the files from token/skill token areas would mean there's nothing to unlock, and that's a game mechanic that really should stay intact.

indeed. i don't want to derail this thread in that direction. even though i have the unpopular opinion, i hope people can at least see where i am coming from.

the way i see it as why not. i don't see the reason to not structure it as such, unless people get discouraged that they can't AAA every file or something.
i've shared my opinion, so not going to post anymore here.

Oh no I absolutely hear what you are saying. But I suppose it follows the idea that this game is seen by everyone as a completionist game, which I am sure differs among the community.
I am against it if it means files of dp/rato difficulty or harder are not supposed to be public.
I'm fine with it if those songs are replaced by equally hard or harder songs that are "better stepped".
So no really hard songs should be public? That doesn't sound like it should be the case to me. But then again, this would make it easier for me to FC 99% of songs by a significant amount, so go for it.
