Re: FFR Credit Applications
They definitely shouldn't do this. And you can reload the page before it submits to avoid losing your credits. Is it possible to code the ffr engine to give you negative credits when you fail to play through an entire file?
It does this when you fail out at the start but only takes 1 credit.
Maybe even make it deduct 1 credit for every boo you get.
Or would this be to complex to code?

Re: FFR Credit Applications
Well I understand where you're coming from but imo this wouldn't be a bad way to sink credits. I know plenty of higher end players who have credits in the millions that quit out of a song and replay it so in the end they wouldn't end up earning as many as they usually do.Last edited by Lambdadelta; 07-14-2013, 03:12 AM.

Re: FFR Credit Applications
alright well it was a retarded suggestion
also it's retarded because remember that the most people that get boos are beginners so you are effectly ruining their chances of ever getting any secret and purchased songs by punishing them for being bad at the game.Last edited by Wayward Vagabond; 07-14-2013, 03:25 AM.

Re: FFR Credit Applications
Then what's the point? They wouldn't be 'skill' tokens.
Edit:// I think I remember you can get negative credits by losing challenges, and it locks up your account. Anyone else remember the details of going into negative credits?Last edited by TheSaxRunner05; 07-14-2013, 09:29 AM.Comment

Re: FFR Credit Applications
I don't see why you can't add them to the FFR store like songs? The staff had a talk previously about credit sinks and there were many great ideas, but unfortunately most of it would require a decent amount of coding in some form or another. Basically, we still lack coding manpower. And some ideas were probably hard to realize from a coding perspective as well.
I think a lot of us would want additional stuff like new noteskins to purchase and such, but they're not as easy to implement as new purchaseable songs.
And what's Punch Tass?Comment

I see your point, now that I think about it that is pretty bad.

Re: FFR Credit Applications
No, think about it. It's not about adding a feature into the FFR Shop - it's about creating the features into the game themselves. One example I would love to see but may be too difficult is to add new themes (visual layout of the game) to the engine. I've heard that the visual interface is too deeply built into the game to make modifications without starting again from the ground up.
Time to consult Velocity or arcnmx...Originally posted by cedoladwhat kind of coding would be needed? php?Comment

Re: FFR Credit Applications
Well maybe if I'm decent at coding in a few years then I could try to work on something but I'm just starting out, unfortunately. :/

Re: FFR Credit Applications
Not true, I've made a healthy living off of people who have returned for more profiles.
Now, what you mean (I think) is that you should only buy one. Or something. That's what everyone thinks. I myself like redoing profiles for people..Comment
