It doesn't always say TIMING, chances are it was the bug in effect there.

Chances are he figured out a way to get past "TIMING" to make his scores look legit.

HAHA.... I found myself in a room of noobs and capriccio... and they were all sucking capriccio's dick, etc, except the host kept comparing him to someone he kept calling Json... which I guess is him failing to type Jason who he knows in real life. It comes out later that this Json character is The AAA... I promptly call him bs, and we start debating. He says he's seen him play in real life... so I ask him what setup he's using. The AAA is obviously bs, I loved it when he AAAAd the first half of blade v2 on index, it said timing on the scoreboard and he insisted it was a "server bug".

There are some pretty good players on smo though, like MIDI and Capriccio. And from what I remember from playing today, me and talisman are at the same skill lvl (like before) xD
