I added everyone to the Skype room who has accepted my friend requests.. I could add baq without him accepting my request but Halogen still needs to.

Almost done fixing up Mudkip from what's on your notes glove, stepping a 10-minute Metroid Medley which may take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours since I have to sync the fuck out of since its a mix of both piano & violin, and I'll get started on stepping on Concert Paraphrase on "Dearly Beloved", which is almost 5-minutes long.

btw, this is the Metroid Medley that I'm talking about

more reviews, i still have 6 files i havn't played

                                Aegis

fun and challenging in a really fun way. lots of potential but very errorenous. there are lots of missing notes, and it's inconsistent with what sounds youre following, in many parts that is fine though. also i think you should redo the layering a lot, always step one sound only to begin with for a section of the file, then choose what to add on top of that and just add one more arrow every time the new sound hits. it doesn't always seem to be properly done although some parts are nice

measure 1-12. it is very unclear what is going on here in the parts that doesn't have the stream, it seems a bit random. start with putting singles to the lead sound and then choose what percussion-sounds you are going to add on top of that and follow then consistently. right now it's different all the time and there seems to be a lot of notes missed
measure 13-17. i think the missing 16ths are there?
measure 17-21 what is going on? the lead melody plays constant 16ths :S
measure 25 the patterns should start changing here as it is gay that they do like that and here the melody changes.
measure 29-37 the lead sound is playing constant 16ths here, and there are minijacks in the melody so this will be really cool when done properly
measure 41 if youre following that up and down melody in the background here i think it's once again playing constant 16ths
measure 53 one 16ths too much in the end?
measure 55 right before the measure i think there should be another 16th

                                croqel

cool file lol i could really tell that the beginning and middle were a few years earlier than the last parts. it got a LOT better as it went on but still has a problem in general with jumping randomly between sounds and then leaving them out, but this and everything else pretty much is a lot better towards the end of the file. it's challenging and cool in some parts but generally relies way too much on mines to make it harder. if you cut together the best part and restep it i can see it being accepted

                                EOS

good file, second half of it is really fun. the first is way too boring though, it just cannot be that easy

measure 1-9. one extra notes when the piano plays bass notes
measure 9-17 i think the snare drum should be represented by a single and not a jump. but the bass drum hits on every 4th so if you add that then youre snare drum hits become jumps
measure 17-23 bass drum added here left out on the freezes
                                measure 32 one vocal i off (its a 16th i think)
measure 37-57 i would like to see more of the vocals as jacks i think. but this part is WAY too boring with only one layer, it's good thinking adding the layers later on in the song instead to create a climax but right now this part just needs to be a LOT more eventful.
                                measure 45&53 missing vocals
measure 57-61 just add the melody layer on top?
measure 66, it is at least 32nds or faster? but it's fine because it's impossible to make out, any color notes like that to just represent the sound is cool
the ending streams are the BOMB

                                fatal tragedy (revision)

ok this file is really starting to look superawesome now. went throught a few parts quickly didn't i didn't look at in detail before. take a look at it again, resubm it and i'm 99% sure i will accept it immidietly

                                measure 37 missing guitar notes
measure 39 1 missing drum 16th in the middle
measure 59, the freeze changes note, add another freeze
measure 64-65 i think it's more 24ths than what are added but its a bit tough to tell
measure 76-85 i think there are missing percussion arrows here and there?
                                measure 94, the kettledrums!
measure 96-100 kettledrums missing in the beginning. also when you have them you dont have the 16ths as a jump (melody obv there too)!
still 2 missing piano notes after the freeze in measure 100? :P

                                vision in crystal
gj stepping the piano well but the file way too uneventful and boring. also repetetive, mirror lol :P good job, but it's not for this pack.

ill forget you, but youll never forget me (revision)

this is really great. pointed out a few minor things. what you need to look at throughout a bit is that you are consistent with the layering, try to avoid to leave sounds out when something else is coming in in the same spot. look at it agan and resubmit it and we'll soon be done with it

measure 9-16, there are some missing 16th notes going to the banjo/guitar/whatever
measure 16&32&58, the freezes are just pretty wrong :P. missing notes + it's really weird that they are like that
measure 17-25. i think you should keep a layer going to the synth, it will throw another arrow in to the minijacks every once in a while, it'll be cool and it's going to be very obvious what sound it's going to as well.
measure 25-32 this part is pretty confusing since there are so many sounds coming and going and that guitar-thingy is so subtle too. i don't have time to look at this part closely right now but please make that that it's consistent with the layering and that you don't jump between differnt sounds and leave them out too much
measure 46, the 8th starting the minijack is a jump, the guitar is there. this is a problem in the layering throughout the file. you shouldnt leave the arrows going the sounds you were following out when the percussion comes in with a minijack, then it should always be jumps
measure 56, this part is a mess. there are no minijacks in the music. and what are the jumps even going to?
measure 57-58 i dont follow the jumps here either, just step the lead melody and add the obvious percussion on top?

btw i dont recommend to in general go for long files, cut the songs instead and make them short, eventful and perhaps hard
