did a speedrun on a game by PROTODOME which is also one of my favorite chip artists

can definitely improve a few tiny spots. I could save 2-3 seconds easy.

Oracle of Seasons is my recommendation, as Ages has a lot of potential run-killers in quick succession, particularly in the minigames between levels 5 and 6. (Sweet Christmas, that bomb game...) Not that the Great Moblin fight or the repairing of the Tuni Nut are particularly easy, either. And don't get me STARTED on the Level 5 boss.

Anyway, have a thing to get you thinking. Of note, Zelda games in general are difficult to optimize because of enemy spawn locations being extremely unpredictable. Yes, it's a TAS, but here's a few tricks I've pulled off on the Game Boy Color before inflicting this:

-Doing level 5 before level 4
-Slaying all four Golden Beasts to get a ring that doubles sword damage, hit me up if you wanna know how to get them to show (there's also a ring that lets you kill the floor boss in the final dungeon with four bomb hits instead of five)
-Not needing to pursue the "favor chain" at all to get the level 2 sword, an activity that is mandatory in Ages. On the other hand, Ages you can get the upgraded sword before the fifth dungeon, and trust me, you'll want that extra power.
-Hopping an extra tile while using the Roc's Feather (only works with pits)
-Using a bomb to hit the crystal switch in the Tower of Winter instead of going to the trouble of getting the boomerang (though the boomerang does make getting the Power Bracelet easier)

The one trick I have yet to master is hopping between the dragon's hands while scoring hits, and the Great Moblin fight in Seasons can drag on for quite a while if you don't have the timing down.

Yeah, I am actually working on Seasons, although at this point I can't even do the full game yet I'd definitely like to talk with you about it sometime, seems like you know some very useful stuff.

Honestly this site is like a million times better organized than any of the main SDA ones. All relevant info is up top and you can organize the stream/chat/donate windows any way you feel like. Twitch viewing is also an option and you can even keep me company in the chat again. I guess they're just going to do it via Poxnor's personal stream rather than making up a new one for the marathon so subscribe or whatever all the cool kids do nowadays: http://www.twitch.tv/poxnor
Stream just went live. Come check it out! Starting with FF4.

Huge sequence-break in Luigi's Mansion discovered this week:

                    For those interested.
You can basically skip the whole game as soon as you beat the first boss, which would be Chauncey.

                    Not this Chauncey though.

P.S: Patashu in the chat again... I swear he's everywhere.

By the way, Bonesaw is trying to get the whole skip non-tas live. It's extremely tedious and is based upon accurate angle and random positioning. I'm still trying to get the gist of it, but from what I can grasp, it completely relies on luck.
However, the out of bounds glitch seems moderately consistent, so there is hope.

I run Pokémon Puzzle League and Super Mario 64. I mostly race the beat Super-Hard category on puzzle league. Like other pokémon games there's a lot of RNG... so this causes much rage over an other an otherwise kinda boring game lol. I have been racing this category almost nightly as of late with a group of people. These races are done on SRL btw. I also, do a lot of 16 Star races. I will do 70 when they come up, but I really am not that good at 70 yet. Looking into other games to run, but I just do these two for now. My twitch page is http://twitch.tv/shadyjakey c:
Oh, I also run Tetris Attack (basically the same thing as puzzle league, but for the snes and a lot shorter)
