Watch some OddOne/Saintvicious/XJ9 streams for jongle tips. Saint I think is the most informative of them all, but he has a "high ELO" perspective so some of the things he says are only for if your team actually knows what they are doing. XJ9 is a solo queue player so he plays a lot more carry-oriented jungle that might be more what you are looking for.
OddOne is just fucking hilarious, my favorite streamer by far :P
Just Played with Dissonant Muse and FangedSerenity. We were down all game by around 150+ and came back for a clutch win. I dunno how we even came back. lol.
The big problem is that your team doesn't have someone like Amumu or Malphite. Lacks an obvious "TEAMFIGHT NOW" signal and so most people will waffle around instead of finishing the game in the decisive teamfight that you need. Sona could flash ult but most support players lack the balls to do that on someone as squishy as Sona, plus odds are your team won't even follow up on it because they are not used to Sona initiating (even though it's pretty good)
This is why hard engage is so useful (and so frequently banned) at lower levels. It forces your team to work together in a teamfight. I'd be willing to bet the only reason that game was so long is that their Wukong properly initiated fights midgame and nobody on your team did.
Yeah getting that teamfight was hard. Nobody really wanted to fight that far into the game because it meant to lose or not to lose. Their Wukong got the perfect start and wrecked faces, pushing us back through midgame. Our botlane lost hard and our jungle was 3k gold behind their jungle. We were mostly depending on my bindings to peel someone off the enemy team before engaging. Shame our ez had the worst positioning ever so he died so many unnecessary times. Most fights ended with 1 or 2 ppl on either side going back and defending. We got the one good teamfight at the end, 3 of us were still alive and rushed all the inhibs and nexus, one by one we died from the respawning enemy champions and sona survived long enough to put the last hit on the nexus.
It was a pretty epic game tbh. Very close. But yeah, with a hard engage we could've won 30 minutes earlier.
