The quarter jumps and the 8th runs are two different (non-divisible) BPMs. If the BPM were to stay the same after the 8th note mini tuns, the quarter note UR jumps should be something closer to red-blue-red, not red-red-red. Considering that the frame spacing between the first UR and the U in your screenshot makes the third interval, that third jump would probably a bit more arbitrary of a color/rhythm.

one frame, two frame, and three frame gaps all within the 8th runs (I suppose I should've edited out the jumps)
