While there's a gap in a lot of the divisions none are as extreme as the D6 gap. I mean the bottom of any of the other divisions have a more likely chance of being able to improve enough to make it further. Odds of someone in D6 being able to pull out something like an SDG or AAA on something like La Camp like Rob just did is significantly less likely. That's why I have a hard time with the "well there's a gap in other divisions" argument. Like when I was shoved in D2 for the 5th official if you remember I was a D1 player. But I managed to skillboost my way up and made it to 13th and that was only because my computer crapped out on me.

It's a good way to make the battling of the very best players the centerpiece of each round, rather than suffocating that drama until like Round 6. And it gives more people more chances to win. What's not to love?
