I was affected by losing 10 years worth of contacts on MSN cause of a fuck up on Skypes part...

      2000 contacts... RIP

It's already happened -- since like 2005 when people stopped using MSN

Yea, I removed my hotmail from pidgin years ago. I only had a handful of contacts on it anyway.

My only problem now is skype. I really hate having two messengers open and wish skype would just let other applications integrate with it.

Still on MSN - but it appears the 300 million + MSN users are slowly being rolled into skype, which makes sense - throwing everyone into skype at once is a good recipe for causing a lot of problems which will go straight to Microsoft customer service - and that's too much of a strain at that magnitude.

Eh. I don't know anybody who used MSN that didn't have a Skype account too, so I won't really be missing anything.

Yeah I'm on MSN daily, for too many hours |: I have skype but i still use MSN over it.

Also it was bumped because MSN made a big deal of it finally being shut down after April 8th. It's still here : >

I was a very very very very very avid MSN user, and dont wanna convert to skype cause it's way more of a strain on my computer, I lose a SHITLOAD of performance on Legacy engine, lose 10 FPS on LoL and 15 FPS on GW2... skypes a piece of shit for poor people like me...

I had Skype. Took it off because it slowed my computer down a shit load.

edit: I haven't used any messaging service (AIM, MSN, Skype, etc) in years. The last one I used was AIM and that was for TWG and you'd have to go back to before FFR shutdown in around 2009.
