D1 cutoff: AAA (overflow)

D5 cutoff: 10-1-0-1

Compared to Extratone it should be relatively easier to AAA.

But **** if it isn't brutal.

Honestly tho I feel like the prize rounds (ie rounds 5+) should be less a matter of AAA/low sdg kind of perfection as a true challenge to the players still remaining. Make it difficult enough so that they struggle to get an sdg on it, and then you'll actually see real competition instead of having score differences so minor it's not any actual reflection of skill disparity between stronger and weaker competitors.

For one of the D1 players now (and possibly more, go make it a Christmas tree guys~) an AAA on their round 6 song won't even be good enough, and thats a little silly.

well picking an appropriate difficulty song isnt really that easy. some of the D1 players are D2 skill level, some might be D3, and some (NMP...) might even be D4. There's similar problems in the other divison. You could just give all the first 3 divisions an FMO (hard FMO for D3) but combo scoring is really dumb and ruins that approach.

I know right? That feeling where even 8-0-0-1 on Death Piano and 23-1-0-3 on RATO don't matter anything when you have to AAA Rave7.

Personally it bugs me when there's files that are so spiky that if you're not AAAing a certain part you're screwed over even if you can nail the rest. Not to mention even if you are able to AAA the entire file in isolations it's stupid that someone else was able to be more fortunate than you were (looking at you Eze !_!)

Am I being forgotten? ;.; I request an iso of Spaceman at 1162 combo till end please. If no one can do it for me, I'll just have to whore the song way harder, but really i just need a little help with the ending, and i dont have the tools to make an isolation. I'm also not requesting in the isolation thread because it seems that all the isolation requests have been made here...

+1 for this. I'm not in the tournament, but the end part in Spaceman is sort of dense with jump streams, it's a toughy.

If the combo number isn't enough info, I can tell you it's right after the long trills is the section he's talking about.

I vaguely recall someone asking for an isolation before and Halogen said he needed a combo mark. With that I could make one for Spaceman.
