The prawnskunk turns swiftly during the night in the cold waters. These two prawnskunks who are turning swiftly are best friends. To show a token of their appreciation, they often engage in a long session of mutual back scratching. Other hobbies include long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners and killing sharks.

The token is a dreaded fiend of the lands known for their voracious appetite and used by the nomadic peoples for self-defense and scaring other predators. Even if all organic life nearby has been eaten, it will start eating the soil nearby and can live off of it for almost two months. Elusive, it prefers to hide from predators, usually in plain sight due to it's skin blending in to it's preferred habitat of mossy highlands. They are difficult to overcome, but when beaten, show devout loyalty.Comment

Are there any more specifics that would make more of you smear something on paper?
I'm not looking for diamonds, I'm serious something like the following would be completely acceptable.
This is an example of a submission I would accept, no less but definitely more if you are inclined.

1) Snake like rib muscles. Slithers across surfaces. Sticky substance allows movement along walls and ceilings. Cannot move across excessively rough terrain, only smooth surfaces.
2) Eats moss, lichen, and small bugs. No teeth, small tongue.
3) Placeholder eye, I don't really understand what you meant by 'unconventional' so you can think of something to put there instead.
4) Spiky membrane. Fluid on belly absorbs rock particles, breaks them down, and they are excreted out of the back of the creature into oddly shaped stalactite like stone structures. Acts as a defence against everything, but also prevents them from going into smaller places as they grow. (Fluid is pushed up by pressure when on floor, or drips down when upside down. etc...)
Additional: Born from hives as small fleshy little things that quickly find stone to absorb and to use to create a shell.
