I've heard of people answering questions online for money. haven't tried it myself. I'm pretty sure it's legit but you get really small returns.

alternatively:
1) buy Diablo III (sell games or other possessions if you need the cash)
2) play the crap out of it
3) get ridiculous items
4) sell ridiculous items for real money
repeat steps 2-4 until you make the Forbes list of billionaires

edit: these are just ideas for making some money purely through the internet. I reread your post and saw how much you need to make over summer, and the stuff I mentioned probably won't cut it. I suggest finding a part-time job very close to your location and squeezing in hours around your internship.

do you think your parents would be offended if you asked them to help out? unless you really want to avoid relying on them, you might as well try. maybe they'll be in a really good mood when you pop the question

I'm highly considering this. Tutors do earn a lot of money and since I'm home for the summer, I think it's a great time to take advantage of the poor high school students with finals rolling around the corner

find a great passion in something you can make some bling in. there is no easy way but it can become routine/easy eventually :P

I thought about answering questions for ChaCha. I might do this since any sort of income will help. I'm not sure if investing time in games will be a good idea since it will probably take me a while to achieve my goal. Earning money over the Internet is probably most ideal since it is most convenient for me. About the question regarding about my parents, I will definitely try since I still need to convince them to go haha. Might as well ask them haha.

EDIT: However, what if I sold my FFR account or CrossFire account to someone...? hmmm xD

My friend and I made an account on cha cha to answer questions for people and when they asked. We ended up saying no to them every time they asked or gave wrong results. Account got banned the same day it was made hahaha

Good ways to earn money...

• Offer small services for little money like washing cars or mowing lawns.
• Babysit. (mostly for females though)
• Teach a skill to another person for a nominal fee.
• Manipulate the market system of a MMO, and sell virtual items for real money.
• Become a telemarketer and annoy people. I believe you get commission pay on top of an hourly pay for this.
• Complete internet surveys by providing companies false information about yourself. The money could go into a paypal account.
• Prostitution. (joke)
• Find a sugar mom. (joke)
• Gamble. You could buy a book for dummies based on gambling.
• Go to pawn shops. Buy cheap items and sell for high. I had a few friends who did this for awhile.

oilrigs in alberta/off the coast of nova scotia/ newfoundland in canada are very high paying jobs (also biggest supplier of oil to USA). they have all sorts of benefits and pay top dollar. you end up getting ridiculous amounts of overtime since you're stuck on an oilrig for 3 weeks at a time and get a week off (some places have variations of this schedule but this is what I heard from someone who had worked on one of these). you get some pretty decent benefits but you work long hours. I don't see it being very complicated work albeit probably quite repetitive and tedious after a while.

you'd be making about 20-25$ per hour, if you're drilling, 35+$ per hour

I just studied abroad over in Australia this past year.

Here are a few things I did:

1) Get a job in your visiting country (Recommended for 1st word only)
---a) Keep in mind that the only downside is you might need to pay taxes in both your host and visiting country. I did a part time job there and used that money for drinks / clubs / etc
---b)This method I found really rewarding. DO NOT work a full time job. You will be much happier.

2) Create some business cards and get your name out there. Go drop them off at clubs, hideouts, birthday parties.

3) DJ on the streets? I have seen live musicians all the time downtown where I live. I would love to see perhaps one guy with 1 speaker and his laptop and a hat. He is rich to not need donations, but if you show your enjoyment for creating music, who knows. It might just get you a gig.
