The first CMC episode that I would consider to be on par with regular episodes. Unfortunately, the best jokes were made without their involvement. imo their classmates are more interesting. Especially that pudgy grey colt who keeps forgetting to turn his swag off.

edit: Pictures of pony head nubs being repurposed for hats is on my list of shit to do. This means it may or may not be done within the next decade.

Did anyone else play around with the Rarity pony generator thing from megamon's link there to try to see what ponies you could make from the show? You'll have to kind of "wing-it" since you don't have all the right parts for all the ponies (Rarity's eyes but not her mane, tail, or cutie mark, but there is a similar cutie mark and mane/tail which can kind of work, for example)

They have a bubbles cutie mark (wink wink, nudge nudge)

Pretty good episode today. Lots of great moments, and overall the episode was pretty funny. My favourite part was definitely the accusations from 9:20 to 12:50.

Now we have a 2-week break until the finale. Hopefully it turns out to be great!

I for one am going to hold a grudge for those next two weeks. I got nothing but work at school, have no breaks in between them, and it's full of projects and that will probably be my schedule for the next two weeks.

Everyone in that episode was an enormous dick. Except for AJ, either because she's underused and underdeveloped or because she's the element of honesty (which manifests as being a terrible liar more than any sort of actual honesty) and knew she'd never be able to lie her way out of it.

Bummer about the 2 week break, but I'm pretty optimistic about the finale being worth it. I think it'd be unlikely that Hasbro go on such a media blitz if they didn't think this was the best shit they've done yet.

Yeah, pretty much. I felt it was kinda out of character for Fluttershy and Rarity, and the explanation of "you made it sound so good" didn't really cut it for me. Regardless, I still enjoyed the episode, if only for the funny moments (which there were an abundance of).
