I personally enjoy playing old / slow / easier files to improve my MA, i just cant seem to able to MA any quick (200ish bpm) songs :<
and i'm slow as fuc

that's ok, i enjoy accuracy files the most too. and we could use more MA players

a word of advice though--accuracy and speed aren't mutually exclusive. building some speed/endurance/reading on harder files will transfer over very nicely to being able to hit easier files more fluidly/consistently~

Midi you should turn on event mode in the options somewhere, it makes it so you have unlimited stages so you don't have to keep going back to songs from the main menu after doing three.

1) I don't know what the hell that means

2) I can, but when I put it into the metrics.ini and english.whatever it doesn't seem to want to give me the higher rates I want/need.

3) I finally figured out what you guys meant by judge difficulties. And this is what happened on my first game j1 lmfao

I think it's in gameplay options or something (it's one of the options that's in the middle of the options screen) and it'll say "event mode" at the left, and you have the option to turn it "on" or "off," it's currently off by default.
