The FFRPARTYY Pack Stepmania Online Night!

We're going to play the songs from this pack, in Stepmania online! We'll be competing to see who can do best, but most of all we'll be playing to enjoy the songs!

Come join us, FRIDAY DECEMBER 2ND, at 7PM SERVER TIME to play some Stepmania Online with this pack and fellow FFR users!

HOW???

Well, it's a little bit of a process, but it's worth it. Follow these steps:

1. Download Stepmania (if you have SM 4.0 or higher, skip to the next step)

You need to download a version of Stepmania that is compatible with SM Online, and those versions can be found here (SM 4.0) and here (SM 5.0).

2. Add the Pack to your Stepmania (skip this if you know how)

You will need to add this folder to your Songs folder in the StepMania program files that were installed on your computer.

3. Set up an account for SMO (if you have one, skip)

Go to this site, and register an account there. Don't forget your password, you will need it to connect!!

4. Log into SMO on Stepmania (if you know how, skip)

Go into the StepMania options menu, and find the Network Options menu option. Once you have entered that, press connect, and input smonline.us into the connection. Press Enter. Now go into Play Stepmania, and continue through until you reach the login screen. If you have a profile created, select it, and input the password you used for your stepmaniaonline.eu account. If not, go make one on SM real fast (the same username as your stepmaniaonline.eu account), it's easy.

5. Find the right room (read this regardless)

Room name will be "FFRPartyy", and the Password (if we set one) will be "tinychat". We are including a password because if random users join us, they will not have the correct pack and songs, thus hindering us from playing.

6. Enjoy (also read this regardless)

Make sure to set your SpeedMod settings, etc before we are trying to start. Also the same with noteskins, themes, and anything else that might hold up the process of us beginning. If you need to add more speedmods than the game initially includes, view where to find the Speedmod settings, what it should look kind of like to start, and what it looks like when you've added what you need in order to see what to do. If you use SM 4.0 and need more speedmods, download this .txt file with how to change that.

All examples shown above are done with SM 5.0, since that's what I use for SMO.

Put this on the OP so that more users will know about this.

Pack will be finalized within the upcoming days and released sometime this weekend. My planned Thanksgiving release isn't happening as I'll be out of town. ~_~

Banned Forever - Tricky little file, nothing really wrong with it. Not sure what the replay value would be though. Accepted

Crab Nicholson Extreme Sleepover - Lol this file is kinda cool. Derp derp 48ths. Accepted

Chipscape - I don't know if I like this chart better than the one in FFRCP or not. Hmmmmmm. Still a fun chart and tricky. Accepted, we'll see what the community says (and what poopet says rofl).

Frogs Theme Solo - There's a big difference between the stepping for singles and stepping for solo. This definitely had some cool patterns, but you missed sounds, and those 32nd trills (especially 12121212 and 5656565656) are nasty. Remember, trills like those would be blasted through on singles but solo takes into account a ton of different patterns and transitions. You could get away with stuff like this on a singles chart, but not as a solo chart. All that said, I think this has potential. Rejected from the pack, but I'd like to fix this up and release it as a single release. If that's fine with you.

Arcanine - These xmod tricks are awesome lol. The file as a whole seems a bit underlayered, but the xmods definitely bring some difficulty to the chart. Accepted

I'm okay with you fixing it up Mike. And thanks for the feedback, I'll fix it up since that was my first solo file.
