Guess what bro, My grandpa died because he couldnt get the heart surgery he needed because he lived in Canada and they wouldnt give it to him.

Each system has their ups and downs. I personally like the Canadian one because anybody regardless of wealth can get almost anything you'd need, and for cases like your grandpa's you could always go next-door to the states. It's not any more of a "joke" than the American system.

The Canadian system is fine as long as you have something like the cold or a very basic infection...

My grandpa has a triple bipass and a knee replaced, and my aunt had long term cancer treatment until she died years later. From what I can see it's only rareish things that don't get treated depending on what it is.

I wish I could say that I'm surprised by this, but I'm not. Things like this make me really happy that I stopped taking the red line entirely and only use the brown line now.
