Link to the Past is one of the greatest games of all time.

A number of Dragon Warrior games can be played. 1, 2 and 3 are definitely all available, and so are 5 and 6. Play them all, eventually. They're great. Dunno if you can get 4 for the SNES (I don't think it was ever remade for the SNES like 1,2,3).

Oh, also, a couple good Link to the past original mods have been made that are pretty great if you like the original. Same goes for super mario world.

Oshi-- I forgot about Lufia. How the hell did I forget?!
Also, I thought DQ5 and FF5 were Japan releases only. You can play them on an emulator, but I thought we were talking about SNES itself.
My list would be HUGE if I could say some Japanese games that I have had emulated and translated.

I mentioned that I'm not agasint importing if I could find copies affordable/there was a good Japanese only game. (My Final Fight is a Japanese cart and so is the Copy of Chrono Trigger I own--hell, it was like 20 bucks for both and people want like 80 for a US ChroTrig)

The easiest way to get all of these games is through an emulator, but I guess that takes some of the experience away from the games (not being able to use the original controller).

I wont preach that I'm anti-emu or anything (How I got to try Sin and Punisment way before the Wii release and even the first Star Ocean) But I would rather try to get all the carts for the games--makes me feel all warm and fuzzy and stuff XD

Keep 'em coming guys. I'm seeing alot of good titles that completly slipped my mind (Link to the Past...Shoulda already got that one lol). I'm going to try and get Secret of Mana, Super Metroid and Zelda for sure. Cant say I know anything about Lufia but the title sounds cool

SNES: Axelay, UN Squadron, Starfox, Biometal, Hyperzone, Super R-Type, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Troddlers, Actraiser, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dreamland 3, Yoshi's Island, Donkey Kong Country

Dreamcast: Sonic Adventure 2, Capcom vs SNK, King of Fighters, Chu Chu Rocket, Alien Front Online, Evolution (1 and 2), Crazy Taxi 2, Hydrothunder

My favorite games on those lists are Hyper Zone, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Troddlers, Kirby Super Star, Chu Chu Rocket, and Hydrothunder.

Starfox for SNES sucks terribly IMO. I'd go with Zelda Link to the Past, Zombies ate my Neighbors, and Donky Kong Country 1-2 (havn't played 3 although I should).

hyper zone is coul cuz it was one of jun ishikawa's first productions with HAL

Front Mission (Tactical RPG, lots of customization)
Zombies Ate My Neighbors (better with a friend)
Kirby Super Star
Legend of the Mystical Ninja

Dreamcast:
Jet Grind Radio
Sonic Adventure 2 (if only for the Chao Garden <3)
Illbleed (though it's more of a really bad game that you either love or hate, and you can buy a copy for like, $1)
