I wouldn't mind seeing some other games outside of NLHE -- could throw a few PLO/PLO8s or even some HOSE/HORSE to introduce everyone to the other games.

Also, Feb 1st sounds like a good date to build the userbase and acclimate everyone to the rating system.

I'm just playing 1 cent 2 cent to relax between classes and I accidentally went all in. 95 more cents into 5 lmao and guy had nuts. Slowroll epicness.

Even though 1 cent 2 cent doesn't count. I made some really good checks/folds on the river in consecutive hands. I have j 9 I raise preflop guy calls. q 8 3 board. two hearts. I bet guy calls. Turn is 10 of hearts he checks. I raise 1/5th pot he calls. River is blank he checks. I check. He has king high flush.

Very next hand I have AA do the same raise preflop and flop the nut flush draw all club board. Same guy is in the hand with me. I raise pretty big he calls. And the board pairs j's. I raise a little he minraises. I call. Blank. I check he bets I fold. Pretty sure he had it.

I'm quite aggressive in style so I take pride in these reads/my ability to escape from losing more.

This is actually not a bad place to start, since you wont lose any money learning the ropes. Dont be shy everyone's gotta start somewhere.

It'll turn around just remember that you can always lose everything at anytime so don't play with more than you are willing to lose at any time.
