Re: who listens to hardcore
I can't get into hardcore metal because all the songs sound the same.
I can tolerate hardcore techno, when it offers something new, when it usually doesn't.
In short, can't understand hardcore music. I know you're trying to be original and heavy, but, it just doesn't sound like music to me.We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.Originally posted by Choofers2/10 smoke weed every other day, what up den

Re: who listens to hardcore
That's like Rise Against and No Trigger if I'm understanding this somewhat. I love that stuff.
Hardcore doesn't even exist anymore, it's meaning is tossed around too often in every way possible. Your definition of hardcore is not really close to mine.

Hardcore can be anything you want it to be, even if it's nowhere close to another person's definition. It's all a matter of opinion. We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.Originally posted by Choofers2/10 smoke weed every other day, what up den

Re: who listens to hardcore
Thats more 'Pop' Punk (but yes you could call it "hardcore" if you want) Hardcore is a more heavier and thick sound. it evolved from punk. So many people label stuff like Rise Against and No Trigger as "hardcore punk". True, but im talking about hardcore. Todays hardcore which takes from the roots of hardcore back then, which took its roots from Punk Rock. So it all ties in and people get **** mixed up.
All in all, The Devil Wears Prada is not hardcore. It is metal. Thats the big thing people **** up. Open chugs and "brees" are METAL.
Sounds Punkish but like I said, "heavier" aka hardcore
