Making up rules?

I was nice enough to give extensions when people were flat out too lazy to submit on time, just to try and get more people involved. Had I not have done that there'd probably only be 15 people left in this.

Also, a fair few people have had finals and other busy schedules leaving them only an hour to play in certain rounds, while others had a greater time to whore for scores. As far as I see it, everyone still has the same chance, no-one is getting an advantage. original late score penaltys will still apply (if anyone cared to look at xBBx's score in the scorecard).

Giving everyone a fair chance =/= being unfair.

If you're butthurt because you might have to try harder to win, then that is what this is about. Beating your competitors.
I bet if people told you in school that extra credit work was unfair to catch up because everyone else did it in their alloted time, disregarding your circumstances, you'd tell them to go jump.

This is meant to be a fun tournament for a flash game. I only do this once a year guys, just play the best you can and enjoy yourselves.
Everybody gets a prize.
Not everyone is going to win.

PA Average still don't make sense for Krunkykai, Remedy and Shikari in D5.

I can't find Raph's Round 2 score, Krunk and rem haven't submitted for round 11 yet

looked at late D5 scores for 2 different people and didn't see any penalties...? How are you penalizing?

In my opinion you are very much making up rules and are very much being unfair and ruining the spirit of competition. Yes I understand it is all for fun in the end but that doesn't mean people aren't trying to win. People signed up to the tournament when the rules were already set in place. Just because they couldn't abide by those rules in the end doesn't mean they are entitled to some kind of compensation.

AJ, players that requested extensions more than 24hrs in advance were given extensions. Players that said nothing and submitted late were penalised.

The 'chill' wasn't implying anything mate. Just don't want this discussion to turn into a drama like so many other tourney-threads have the pleasure of hosting.

I am more than certain that adding "by the way because of the hectic nature of christmas and the fact that there are 12 very short rounds, a bit of extra time will be given at the end to catch up to compensate for this" would've seemed pointless and I would most likely have been flamed for it before the tourney even started.

I don't recall releasing the exact nature of the themed rounds in the op. I also don't see the reason why this is such a big deal.
You are objecting, yet have posted an updated score.
