It's just as illegal as switching from spread to index in the middle of a song.

Switching playing styles is illegal? What? That basically would imply that your fingers have to be stuck in the same position for the whole song, which is silly.

As long as you aren't using multiple keys for one arrow, it should be fine.

I just dont approve of overlay. Technically its legal since you are only using one setup, but you are still cheating the pattern. If the pattern(like the CP trill) is intended for two fingers, using four to hit it just to make it easier for you is cheating the pattern. It would be like if a song had a long one arrowed jack in it for like 5 secs, sure you are on one setup and can use two fingers to hit that jack, but you are defeating the purpose of it being a jack now and making it a trill. Thats just my thoughts on it, surely not everyone will agree with it, but those are my standards I'll go by, either hit the trill by trilling/vibrating or you're cheating it.

And then there's the issue of detecting the differences between such a setup. While with DS the amount of boos can be a possible indicator, could we differentiate with the overlay method?

I said it's just as illegal as overlay setup. Overlay setup isn't illegal, therefore switching play styles isn't illegal. You misunderstood.

When I vibrate that trill, I'll usually do quads since I don't want to miss the jump at the end, thus resulting in a ton of boos, so one can't assume DS by boo count.

Been pretty FFR lazy lately.
130th public AAA though. And **** this song, way too many blackflags on it ;_;

Trying to AAA lower level songs I have left. Hyperactivity first try AAA thank god.

ASDF at that Jeanie&Caroline and For FFR. I cannot read the walls in the latter, though I have managed to bust out a Divine Suicide of K full combo. (Bsk, get your naysaying attitude out of here. This is about lower-level people cheering each other on, not about elite players going out of their way to put down those that don't measure up, which was the reason for this thread.)

I'm /trying/ to upload a shot of my recent AAA of Seven, but my computer is ironically slow as **** since the defrag I did on it this afternoon. It's got a far lower arrow density than Famouz and the streams are slower, so if you guys want Heavy, try that one.

Btw, For FFR is easy to me because I enjoy playing it. As well as a bunch of other songs that many others don't like XD

Oh, and the mashing was just because I was sick of not having any upper level songs FC'd, so I got frustrated and mashed the sh*t out of the shortest FGO and got it XD

You really cant assume that. These people think that and choose not to post scores, thats their problem. Cant blame the people posting in the FFR scores thread for these people being to afraid to post their scores. If they would actually post some it wouldnt like the pros are owning the thread. They are just posting scores like anyone else, cant put a skill level on what can be posted.
