I am now thinking about making files for FFR since I have had so much free time on my hands and probably still will for a while. This may be a dumb question but im gonna make my first file. Exactly how do I start? How do I get a song into Stepmania so that I can step it?

Start with this, this, and this. I'd strongly recommend practicing and allowing others to test your songs before submitting to FFR.

Now back on topic; I'd support Rebirth and JX. Both gave good, concise feedback while they were judges. Bmah and Patashu would likely be great judges, too.
