Tss, didn't know of this thread, would someone try some of my simfiles and tell me whether they need improvement? I'm new to stepping

Well, I don't know much about making simfiles, but I tried your Malmsteen song and enjoyed playing it. It seems well-synced, technically alright and fun. However, patterns tended to be somewhat generic and repetitive. Especially the repeated 6824 16ths were a bit bland, tbh. Maybe the song itself doesn;t provide much material for cool layering or funky patterns, but I missed something. You're definitely on the right way though. I'll test some more of your files.

i'm a noob so go easy ok? this is my first one after all, and it has no graphics or whatever yet... ^^
also it's only the...like...first 40 seconds of the song, and in addition the end (which I really haven't finished putting the notes in the right places), it's rather messy if i say so myself but hopefully it's playable (playable enough...)

well, it's a mildly enjoyable file.
although it lacks some rhythm accuracy, especially felt like 24th bursts are out of place.
