I predict that I'll fall just short of top 8. There are going to be plenty of people better in me in D4 but I'm going to work my ass off to improve including starting stepmania (which supposedly makes one a lot better?) so hopefully since rounds are a week, I'll do well enough to get top 8 in a couple months but I doubt it, there are so many underrated players that we never know are really good until they play for the tourney...especially this year there are a lot of new good people finding ffr that might be severely underrated
SM doesn't magically make you better all it does is expose you to a wide variety of files that are beyond the difficulty range of FFR should you choose to download and play them.
Ie. if you get hsmp and midare and play that all day you'll get better but if you just play like otakus dream and ma files you'll probably get worse at ffr

this is true, except there is a side effect of not wanting to play ffr anymore.
What is easy to you may not be easy to others. That song is really tricky. If that is easy to you, then you are definitely D3 or small chance D4. Im going with D3.
the 64ths are played as jump trills and the song is slow in general. the two hardest parts are the right roll followed by the left roll and the 14 jump jacks
