so... after dying, I think I might have maybe sorta kinda found a way to beat level 56... but level 56 is like 50,000x harder than any previous wave. so, GL to anyone beating 56. if you do, I guess I'll replay this and try my new strategy... but 56 is just flat out balls nuts.

and was almost at the end of the round. Plus, I know where main issue was in the last few levels. I think I could get into the 60's pretty easily.
