@Decamus: I get your point. But FFR is a game, not a car. A good developer team is open to suggestions, and in such a case of FFR which as a quickly growing community, they listen to the community.

I totally support this. However I just don't see it happening because every layout would have to be sliced as they are all unique (as far as I know) requiring photoshop and flash skills both. Ofcourse if the staff would do the skins that'd be a whole nother story but I don't think they have enough time on their hands?

I don't know much about how flash works myself, but I'm sure this would be tricky. I know for some custom skins, you have to provide a list of coordinates on a seperate file for each of the buttons, but idk if that would work on flash, and it wouldn't have any animations. Most likely, in order for someone to create skins for the game, they would have to understand how to program flash pretty well, and even then, it might be hard for synthlight to come up with a template (like giving guidelines and certain coding for certain things) for people to use to make the skins.

Although, it might not be too bad if it was an overal basic color change, but even then, that might take some time to implement (there might be lots of places where you would have to change what it says for the color, or if there are images being used, there might be lots of images that needs to be changed), but i'm not sure if flash, or the way it's programmed right now, might make that easy or not.
