this is a pretty cool thread, I cant believe I've never seen it. Also yeah those were easy points. Once you can eat the 2nd smallest dog it just gets easier and easier
i wouldn't mind knowing exactly how many dogs it took before you are big enough to eat the next biggest type.
i think it's around 35-40 (maybe less) before you can eat the small white dogs. i had 77 and tried to get a big white dog and died. also saw some long brown dogs just appearing as i died too. no need to play again though, got 10200.
It's like 40/45 dogs for the small white dogs, and probably around 100 for the big white dogs. I got 11,500 points, so I don't need to play Dog Eat Dog again. YAY.
Yeah I started eating bigger dogs when I first hit around 40, and didn't even try going for the bigger ones until I was well over 100. Forgot how many I ate before I went up a level, but I was obviously bigger at the time. I basically played very risk-aversely and only ate bigger dogs when I was certain I'd win. Got 64k.
I got like 11700 and went to eat the 3rd biggest dog and died..
Oh by the way, what upgrade path should I use in bubble tanks 2? I keep getting the 4th or so form and losing lots of bubbles.
I'd say the fighter path. It isn't exactly capable of taking lots of damage, but its fast movement/firing speed overcomes it. Along the path you'll get a fighter with a protective shield; I recommend keeping that, and then leveling on a different path to keep the shield. The shield is SO useful, it protects you from everything thrown at you. The recharge is pretty fast too.
I completed this game with a Super Fighter and a Super Heavy. Choose either one that works for you.
Yays, buried treasure week! Got the new badge and point challenge from that gay Dog Eating other Dogs game that encourages cannibalism. :/ Hopefully tomorrow's game will be better.
My real birthdate is November 6, 1995 but I'm keeping it as '92 for nostalgic reasons. Lol.
i am... but i assume that's only because i'm trying to play it with a touch pad. when i can try it with a mouse, i assume everything but the hard will be cake. the hard will just take some memorization of where guys are, and how to beat the bosses.
haven't even gotten the card yet, because no mouse = failure.
I took care of two badges on Intrusion, and I got the card. I suggest just taking it slow, starting on the first stage, and then slowly making your way through the stage. Get up on top of the base you come across for an SMG, and then use that for the rest of the level. You should be able to get the 20k points on the second level as you go along.
Tass: Come on, be Rubi-Hardcore with me -- I always use touchpad.
Beat Intrusion Normal and got all the badges again. The entire game is relatively easy except for Level 4, which handed my ass to me on multiple occasions (had at least 3 Game Overs). Play very risk-aversely on Level 4 and you'll actually waste less time overall. Unlike Levels 1-3, there's no Boss in Level 4 (unless you count the final crane bunker as a boss, but whatever).
