i made this earlier there is a sum of about 8.5 mil on the positive side top 10
and only about 3.5 mil sum on the negative top 10
so there are 5 mil negative missing if you stretch out that sum on a logical curve i would think i would look like this showing there are much more losers
the front page post clearly says there is a 50/50 chance on each single bet thats true but as a whole game if your trying to go for the a top positive spot its not a 50/50 game
so you regular guys with 150k-200k don't dream about getting a million it can happen but you will have to win many bets in a row and generally have awesome luck much more luck then 50/50Last edited by heyitsmee; 07-10-2008, 04:55 AM.

Nice catch, but there's a catch.
What you are looking at is only the top ten, not the general consensus. If I had 200k, and lost it down to nothing, I couldn't continue playing. Not only because of the lack of credits, but my will to play is now gone.
Now let's take that hypotheticality the other way, say I had 200k and I won. What would most do? They would continue to try to win.
What you see on the positive top ten side are people who have been extremely lucky with large bets.
What you see on the negative side are people who had EARNED a lot of credits, then lost them. Thus capping how much total negative they could achieve by the amount they previously had.
Not just this, but there are countless others who are not on the list who have lost an amount of credits, but not enough to end up on the top ten. And not many people have the willpower to win some and they just quit.

It's not a fact because Tass said it, it's a fact period.
A lot of people lose money, and very few people win a lot. What you see on the positive side are people who have won a lot, the very lucky few. That's all that is, luck.
The reason the negative side isn't higher is because you have to have EARNED the credits beforehand. Argo and Izzy already had that insane amount of credits, but they lost it all.
This is hard to explain...
Say I started at 500k credits, I kept playing until I had 2 million credits, thus giving me a +1,500,000 positive bonus.
Different situation, I have 500k, But I lose all 500k, brings me to a 500k deficit.
Another situation, I have 500k, I lose 200k, but then I win back 200k. I have no positive or negative change.
See what I mean by you can only have a negative count based on what you have? There are a lot of people who have experienced the second situation, but only a few who have experienced the first. yea i know what you mean you can only lose as much as your initial amount when entering the game or if someone transfers you credits you can lose some more

Ok, then. You see a huge difference in the amount lost because the people on the positive side have no limit to the amount they can win, they can make the amount they can win larger. On the negative side, they cannot beacuase they can only lose that much. This is why you see a five million difference between the two statistics. If we were to look at the gambling records page, we will see a lot of people who have lost between 0-250k, which accounts for all the extra credits on the positive side, and still not appear on the top ten.
Each game is a new chance. Though unlikely, it IS possible to win fifty games in a row, through extreme luck. i didnt say we should see guys in the top 10 negative with a 3 mil lose..
in fact i said the opposite that many small raguler -150k -200k will show.
