I am the exact same. I watched all 30 English subbed death note episodes in one day. I tried watching lucky star, but it was sooo messed. It was just girl talking about how they eat stuff LOL.

first few episodes of lucky star blew. it DID pick up, but you had to watch alot of other anime to get some of the jokes.

also, there's 37 episodes of death note.

As for Lucky Star, the manga and the anime is generally directed towards an audience of Japanese adults who would experience nostalgia from the typical high school life. (The food things for instance, and most of the non-anime related stuffs.) Bimizu-san incorporates some otaku themes to appeal to the young adults and little children. Lucky Star itself isn't supposed to eccentric in style, but rather a slow and relaxed 4 window manga that would pass the time. =)

you all are right I did mess up I didn't read to see if there were other peoples threads like these. its just whos going to seriously look through over 315 posts.... I am also a busy person so I don't have the time to check these things out. If I got anyone mad I am sorry. and as for the "Ads" I was merely showing you some useful links so you can watch some streamed anime. But w/e its cool lol I am a newby i am sorry.

other than that! Id have to say all your animes seemt o be the same as mine lol Although yu Yu Hankusho wasn't one of my favs.... Sadly... But! For some reason Death note has been coming up A LOT I have noticed that as well. I must ask though, Why do you like these certain anime shows? I mean you answered that post question but I am wondering why though? I know this is sorta off topic but it is still in the range of fav animes, just why did you choose it? Was it cuz someone told you about? Did you just watch it once and get hooked? Do tell >.< I got into my animes through my friend from Japan, he told me "Hey check out Gundam SEED" so I did and guess what! Hooked! Then I moved onto Death Note, etc. I love anime period but thats what got me started on it.

Now it is YOUR turn >.< Sorry if Im making you work hard it just helps me know how people got into it cuz obviously you didn't just not watch it and get hooked like thats profound lol. Do tell! Cmon! >.<

Very sorry if I did make a typo and Death Note there is 37 Episodes yet I heard that the 31st came out not sure though Ill have to check it out. and there is also a DS game... Amazing... Spice and Wolf is also quite great and it's rather unique. Saikano was interesting and unique, but the first few episodes were poorly done. I couldn't stand the bleak, hopeless, and sad ending though; it still occupies my mind.

El Cazador de la Bruja is an anime that I've watched; I don't know a single other person that has even heard of it. It's pretty good, as well.

To tell you the truth, Dokuro Chan I don't think any of you people have seen it, but its probobly one of my fav animes due to its messed up ness. Like seriously a random chick who is like an angel yet with a bat and kills this guy for no reason with this spiked bat.... Now tell me does that even seem right to you? And it even shows the blood to when the girl smashes the guy so tell me thats not messed up.

also, Elfen lied is also one of my favs I forgot to mention. This show is probobly the most bloodiest anime I have ever seen in my life. I mean this girl who escapes from a prison-like place and kills these guards by ripping them apart... tell me thats not gross and messed up. I mean whoever made that must have been on something or just must have a messed up mind.... No joke.. But ya check these out! No joke!

I watched el Cazador a while back. Yuki Kajiura has done it again! Like Noir, Black Cat, the OST was just purely amazing. The storyline was alright, Nadie's part wasn't played too well in comparison to Ellis. LA died D:

Saikano had potential to be a LOT better. Until the end, it was slow moving. And yet at the end it was a cliffhanger-like ending that doesn't really fit into anything else. Chise is inside me....what?

Dokuro Chan was tad disturbing... I just don't feel is it funny when she wings the steel mace through him with all the gore that accompanies it. The second season, I wouldn't feel compelled to check it out.

Tyriel, you might want to check out Shingetsutan Tsukihime if you liked Elfin Lied. Pretty hardcore bloody as well, dealing with vampires and such.

LA's case was pretty sad in my opinion. He never really did anything horrible, only pursued Ellis as a love interest. It was a bit sad when he died under the dictatorship of Rosenburg, then finally realizing his love was true D:

Heres a summary of last episode of Saikano:
shuuji go to that shrine place.
a robot chise talks with him
they have sex.
The sky turns red.
BOOM
end of the world
shuuji finds himself in a place where its all white
he hears a voice, and chise is inside of him.
they live happily ever after.

WTF?

I got the sadness of the entire thing, but seriously, the art was mediocre, the storyline had potential and they screwed up the beginning and the end. It suggested to me they wanted to make it have a focus on the war theme like Grave of the fireflies, yet they gave a half-assed effort on both the war, and the love.

Wow Alright you have a really good point right there. lol That last episode is almost like the end of Neon Genesis Evangelion! omg it just seriously ends with Shinji and Asuka just sitting there with a huge hole in the middle of the earth... Like what do they do now? Re make the world? Its like dead! lol I dunno it got me

Also another one of my favs has got to be Girls Bravo. Now I know it was a really really messed up anime like with Fukuyama being all perverted and all but that was what made me watch it the most lol I mean without him it was like ..... "this sucks" lol LIke the plot without him would suck id have to admit.

And I will check out that anime for sure lol thank you so much! If its about vampires Ill probably get into it right away lol

Girls Bravo was an old classic. It was great. I'm not a manga person, but I hear the manga was 1000x better than the anime. There are other Love/romances comedy animes littered around everywhere. fukuyama, that retarded rich guy who goes after any girl and then getting pwned by kiri? Lol. The second season was great too
