So basically, instead of complaining, make your own "good" stepfile and submit it. Or, deal with what you get.

Not that I have anything against the recent stepfiles, but I plan to submit my own this July.

In the end, I still have absolutely no idea what a good stepfile is.

Complaining will never change anything, if you are going to complain, and go on calling people weaboos..

This thread is NOT going to help ANYONE get rid of those generic rock songs.

Trust me. Those songs won't be removed anytime soon, and stepfiles change very very rarely anyways.

I'd generally agree with EnR. Files have actually gotten a bit better.

I don't really care what kind of music gets into FFR to be honest. You guys that are so uptight about 'emo music' need to just loosen up and kick back.

It seems like the administration is giving a fair shot to all kinds of music, and I don't see what's so bad about a variation of genres. *shrug* The response to that will be that this is a DDR spinoff and should feature primarily dance music, and it does. Like ****ing 20 pages of it. Variety is the spice of life. Not to mention that a majority of users demanded more mainstream stuff anyways.
