Yeah, jimerax said it was okay, but I want some more opinions on it. Just to know what to improve on so as many people as possible can enjoy my files.

overlayered, patterns are kinda generic, flow is slightly off. not all too fun. then again, I'm biased because I've already played kil's version

layer - you might feel hands in the stream are overdone
patterns - nothing special, but they make sense
flow - at least technically ok I guess

          yea I know you're biased.

I agree with the over layering, felt like there was too many jumps during the jumpstreams, but I knew what sound you were going with.

Anyway, was that the one you sent to ffr? the fmo/fgo batch

a bit different version, quite the same at parts though.

I never knew this thread existed... Hmm. I'll upload something during spring break. Ever hear of Heaven's Gate, by Xi (artist of Death Piano)? Or experimental 002, by Yuuyu?

                    If x = 16th note and - = 16th rest, then:
xx-xx-xx-xx-xx is a gallop rhythm. Named as such because it sounds kind of like a galloping horse or something.
Usually, the hardest chart is the best/most interesting. It'd be a waste of time to test every chart, and easy charts can be boring for a keyboard player.

Because I don't have/want to play all charts.

We still need more testers I guess.

I'll test some when I have time. I only do pad files, though. I can't really play many keyboard files, so I wouldn't know how to properly judge them.

Double post/minor bump because nobody's tested my simfile yet. I'd appreciate it if someone critiqued it.

Reserved Post - will edit with reviews.

                                Blaze (Quigly) (Edit chart) 0.5/5

Gap off by a lot. Like tons. Do be sure to check your files for stuff like that before you release them.
Roll patterns at beginning are actually triplets, like in your Oni chart.
Missed some 16ths you could have tossed in with the jumps starting m13.
Stream patterns everywhere could have been more pitch relevant.
All trill patterns make no sense.
Patterns you used at m42 could have been used at m39 as well.
m46 - again, trill patterns make no sense as there is no sound there to warrant a trill rather than pitch relevant stream patterns.
m62 - this part isn't as intense as the part you used the same steps earlier (m13), so less intense steps should have been used
m70ish - reeeally sloppy rhythms used here. Close, but always an extra beat that doesn't need to be there.
m95 - same problem here as with the streams before, including the trills.
                                just before m131 - 8ths are actually 12ths.
last jump isn't really needed, but whatever.
You are not the artist of the song. In the artist line of the song info goes the song artist. You get a CDTitle, which is just a small graphic that shows that you stepped the song. Artist should be cornandbeans.
Don't really like .smzip either, but that doesn't really matter.

                                Tell (Breakdown16) (Heavy chart) 2.5/5

This is actually pretty fun, but still has some errors here and there...
Maybe an 8th during the freeze in m9 and parts similar to it would help to make the steps flow better. There is a drum there that you could step.
still m9 - put a 16th in right after the 2nd beat for accuracy. Same with similar parts of the song.
before m18 - 16ths for the drum, like before m14 would be nice.
m23 - missed a few 16ths on the synth that should have been stepped. Same with similar parts of the song.
m39, m43 - I'm assuming you made this chart for index players. If you intended it for spread players, try to avoid one handed trills (right-up-right-up or left-down-left-down)
Same place - could maybe have layered in the drums during the trills.
                                missed 16ths right before m46
m50 - hands are a little awkward as there are no other hands throughout the sim.
                                m66 - again, missed some 16ths
Gap might be slightly off. Holding the Alt key and using the F11/F12 keys allows you to adjust it by .001 seconds. It's pretty close though, so no biggie.
