You really should finish it. It seems a bit slow and repetitive around the middle, but once you reach the last 5 episodes or something, it gets exciting... and you can't stop.

This show is my cocaine.
I actually found out about it when I was fooling around on AniDB one day toward the end of '07, and ended up watching all of the first season in about four days.
I'm slowly watching Season Two, currently at episode 15.
Info on Season Three was actually leaked out just days after the Season Two finished, it's supposed to start sometime this July, if my sources are good.
I actually am amazed that they're going to make a third season, even after what happened with those killings in Japan (would post news link here if I still had one).

Btw, did anyone see the Nekogoroshi-hen (cat killing chapter) special?

Higurashi is still awesome though. There's a third season (nandeyanen?) coming out sometime in 2008. Oh 2008 is this year. So it comes out sometime this year.

I should hurry and finish watching it.. so that.. when the third season comes out..
I don't have to watch a bunch of episodes at once haha
