I whole-heartedly support this idea. I really think it has a lot of potential, and I've been dying for something to actually spend my useless credits on. With the help of a few talented artists like arrekusuof, you could definitely have something going here.

I think artists like me and others could make the skins, and submit them to FFR to have them coded, along with descriptions on how everything should work.

I have suggested this internally a number of times. I believe the issue is in the realm of having artists to develop a number skins for us. To support the idea, I would recommend posting as many original skin variations in this thread as you possibly can. The ones that have been posted thus far are looking pretty good and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

I give full support to this idea. However how can people create skins? I think it would be a good idea to have some kind of editor that someone could use, instread of pestering an admin who might get it all wrong.

An editor or some kind of IDE for artists to code their own skins sounds like an awesome idea! I guess it could kind of be like an SDK for FFR... I wonder how long that would take to create.
