Most people just stare and say look at that dude or boy. I also get how do you see those arrows you must have memorized them.

I say its like sightreading sheet music for a song you've never played before. But many people don't agree...

A lot of observers who don't know the game think I spend hours memorizing where each arrow is... (I did do that at one time for {Sunlight} and Southern Cross... but still) to me, that's radical. Uh, what ogmsband said.

some people have asked me several times and theyre pianists so i ask them how are you able to read those notes quickly and play well. i play the piano too and can read the notes quick, but my fingers dont hit the right key most of the time.

lol alot of people ask me that question, i tell them i can slow down the arrows and stuff with my eyes =)

i would agree that the best players on this site are just naturally talented with hand-eye coordination. Practice makes perfect, but there are some that could never be that good. The Motion/Muscle memory is definitely the basics but it gets down to pure speed and accuracy.

i like see every note but my fingers just arent fast enough to press the buttons but i mostly tell people its just like neo being able to dodge bullets REACTION except POSSIBLE reaction

As you play, you develop a memorization for patterns. That way, instead of seeing 12 separate arrows, for instance, you see maybe 3 patterns you know, so you only have to recognize the three patterns to be able to perform them. You don't have to necessarily recognize all 12 notes individually.

Yeah. I play it at school, and the people behind me are like, "Are you the best FFR player there is, yet?" I tell them definitely no.

Though, that is followed by "GET A LIFE!" from them, or them challenging me at Guitar Hero (after I let them try it and they fail), or a quick change in subject. I've had a few, "You're a god," and, "How did you get so good?". I have to explain to them that I suck compared to others to make them stop thinking that I'm insane or something.

And don't start lecturing on how I shouldn't be playing it in school.

my friends and nubs in my business class always ask me that, i dunno how they think i could memorize that, they freak out even on easy songs

and @ the guy who plays in school too, yeah its fun watching them freak out lol

I play in school whenever I have free time around a computer. Normally I'll get around 3 people watching me at a time.

Today was the first time anybody had asked me if I memorized them (Brookes Was Here)... I told her she was crazy for thinking anybody could memorize that.

Most of the time I get comments like:
"Do you play this every day?"
"Is he just pressing random buttons?"
"Did you hit them ALL?!"
"Let me try..." followed by an epic failure on Excite Bike on their part
"Are you like the best player in the game?"

Sometime it gets pretty annoying...

but my brother always ask me that.

i tell him its the same thing on guitar hero.
because hes a beast at that.
