I'm a girl and I play DDR with my best friend (who is also female) and we're actually pretty good at it. We're mostly on STANDARD but can do a few HEAVY songs. We've both been playing since July, 2003. Sometimes some of the guys from school like make fun of us for playing because we're girls. I can understand how guys don't want to be interrupted by a couple girls on beginner, but when we go on STANDARD they shouldn't say anything.. They need to stop stereotyping.
"Preppy", among other things, is another one of those worthless labels that mean absolutely nothing.
It's right up there with "frigid", "slut", "whore", and "loser".
If people dress differently than you and have a different attitude towards school I really don't know why anyone would care too much in the first place.
lol i guess I didn't phrase it properly... I AM asian hah, and i started playing ddr on standard mode. I was getting Ds and Cs but light mode was just way too easy for me at the time.
Ananana: Girls are so complicated. That\'s why I\'m not a lesbian.
Anuj: Marry me Karen XD
Anuj: omfg somebody suck my wee wee >.<
I play DDR and I'm a boy. If I ever found a girl who was better than me I wouldn't get angry. I'd probobly be asking for lessons. I can do anything but a level 10 song and purly because I'm not exactly what you would call "physicaly fit". And if someone's better than you, dont dis or stereotype them. Respect them!
By the way way the only time I ever AA a song is with a controller at home or on the computer so I'm sure if I went to an arcade I could find someone better than me.
well...last time I read this thread there was only what...17, 18 pages?! ok for the whole lableing people with names...who cares what people call you...sure I get called a loser sometimes, but then I come back and say "well...atleast I'm a good, wholesome loser" just ignore those who have to make themselves feel better by calling others names. And yeah, I have alot of friends who are better than me at DDR...I dont really care, I've only been playing around 5 months or so and I'm already doing a great amount of heavy songs so I'm happy with that. In conclusion, nobody should really give a damn about what other people think about you! Just play the damn game and be happy!
