woah man, there is like... 3 notes that are like half a note off the pitch I think, but other than that... thats an insane effort, huge kudo's I think you can get the entire sheet music somewhere on the net, to save you doing it by ear... not sure though I know there is a thread with all the song names, if you wanted to get the music individually

This is amazing! I too play piano, but this is a little bit above my level to transcribe, but I love playing this part of the song you transcribed.

Silver Brian's sister, all other people who play parts of this by ear.... You all should come together and each transcribe a segment of the song until all the pieces are together and then, finish it up and upload here. You guys would be super famous, I am actually trying w/ my ipod plugged into my ears, to play some of this song by ear... but it is hard for me, as I am not an uber piano dude yet, but I am hoping to be one soon. Well, I may be able to help with easy easy parts, but lets see if this goes anywhere.

P.S. If I had not clued you in enough there, I am looking for a leader to lead this thing (remember I am not that good yet or else it would be me).

P.S.S This is a sweet idea, it only needs a bunch of ubernurd (thats a good thing) piano players and and an ubernurd (sill a compliment) leader.

P.S.S.S. Yes put more into notation, and mabye others will help.

Good job on the music! It should've been faster than what you played, but other than that, great! I guess this would be a start to the whole collection. I think it'd be great if you, or anybody really, just made every little part separately like you did, and then put it together to sound exactly like Torley's collection.

Heyyyyy!!! I made some sheet TGWP sheet music for metal gear solid, but it's only on paper If anyone knows any programs for transcribing or songwriting plz tell me. Oh and also, if you want me to send you a copy of my rough draft if I get a program, email me at aznprideyea@gmail.com. The rythym is VERY hard to transcribe, so it's far from perfect. If you listened to Torley, you would know how much he changed tempos. Well cya!

Lol huge bump. Anyway, im only 14, and I'll give out sheet music for free. I just want everyone to be able to play what is probably one of the best video game piano medly ever. I'm just transcribing this for fun. :P I believe I got like at least 85% of the notes on the metal gear solid theme, and a 10% on rythmic accuracy. >.< Oh well. Having the notes down is a start. I looked online for computer composing softwares, and they're like 600 bucks!!!!! Can't afford it. So this might be a tedious thing to do, but would anyone who has Finale or another songwriter program volunteer to write down the notes? Give me your email and i'll email you the notes, measure by measure. So far, i'm at deus ex in the song. Not very far, but Metal gear solid is now out of the way, and that part, if you listen realllly carefully has a lot of tempo changes.
