I got to try out Halo and Halo 2 with a good friend of mine. The variety was interesting, but I thought the action itself wasn't at all immersive, and the plot was sub-par.
Several kids at my school skipped as well. The game must be good. However, I have a feeling that it will disappoint many of the more "hardcore" FPS players, given that they have been waiting for quite a while to get it.

Ummm....FPSs ain't my thing, and I can't see why ppl are like all "wooo hoo" over the game, I mean the commercials actually made the story seem like it was gonna be good. However...totally wasn't the case, and further more it was so fkn short...who does that O_o. You make your "final" game and you make it short O_O. Come on Bungi...or h/e spelled. Though I hate FPSs, i still enjoy a good story, Halo 3 was lacking BIG time in that department...."we'll answer all your dying questions" no...you're just chase a fkn hologram chick through the whole game, and then...the crapiest ending lvl to a game I can remember...sorta seems like the ending to which other game *thinks* eh eh eh!!! Nice way to be "original"! Other than all that crap, I do believe that it leaves room for Halo 4 or that Halo Wars Game...which i think is supposed to be an RTS lolz...I do have to admit that's sorta neat ^_^. So I guess I could say the game is...okay, and the only reason i was disapointed was because it didn't suck more....seriously it bothered me, I wanted to see it fail hahahaha! I have to admit, I did like the lvls, the guns...seriously, they just seemed recycled from the first game...and don't get me wrong, but I don't think you were able to duel wield needlers in the game...WTF is that about! I loved those things *tears up*. Granades were neato I suppose, button config sucked, and overall, I suppose if you can ignore the story the game is sub par.
So people feel free to chew me out, I know you big fans may, but my God it's only a game and I'm expressing my opinion...which I'm totally entitled to ^_^. I don't all out hate the game, I just hate how (like most games) the hype it had killed the game...but I think they messed up more...esp with that one commercial of him as a kid or something, and then they make the one where it seems he's gonna die *cough* MGS4 *uncough*. I'm sorry, I would of liked to see him die doing something amazing, but ehhh...idk I like that they kept him alive.
Oh but my biggest thing of all...hands down, I LOVED the Soundtrack, it was AMAZING!!!! It captured the feeling of every part of the game, and I feel that is what is most important. I'm deff. gonna buy it...or torrent it....probably the second....which ever I'm feeling I suppose

Its so crazy in my town that yesterday they had a Halo 2 tourny to and the prize for first place was Halo 3. this is in school.If you want an FFR convention somewhere in the New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania area copy and paste this on your siggy to support so that this message can be heard and we will get a convention here

All I can say about this thread is that it's proof that there's an invasion of stupid happening right before our very eyes, on FFR that is.
Anyway, the Halo series awesome and the online multiplayer provides for months of awesome if you're any good at the game. If you suck then of course you don't like this game.
I'm looking forward to the endless hours of drunken online halo 3 play as I yell at random 12 year old kids and tell them that mommy and daddy don't love them.

bought it the day after.... no lines, still got a bunch of left over free stuff... not really that much fun... i'd rather play an FPS on my Wii. over all i would have rather spent my money on another game... but thats just me.Comment

h2 = yayz, online is great, oh wait, game with most cheaters ever.
