I don't like to use AIM it minimize's my games and shit when people talk,the sound is annoying but then I don't know who messaging me. I only keep FFR people on my list and if someone randomly adds me on MSN or AIM I ask who it is,if I don't know who it is I say thanks for adding me bye now and block + delete.

You can tell it to use a different sound, I think. Just make a beep of your liking by cropping a piece out of a song or making some sort of noise with a sound program, change it to mp3 and find the option in AIM.. you should be good to go. If AOL has any sense at all. Oh wait. They don't. -_-

i've never gotten random IMs, but i do get people who look at my subprofile. i always IM them and ask who the hell they are. 25% of the time they explain that they are a friend who just got a new sn, 25% they ask who the hell I am, and half the time they block me. also, somebody i knew has some sort of virus that invites everybody on their buddy list into a chat room. i go into the chat room sometimes and laugh at all the people all giving their asl and trying to cyber with everybody. those poor poor losers.

You must have Win. 2000 or earlier. Win. XP blinks orange, while anything else blinks blue.

I have XP and I've never seen it blink orange. It's always been blue, as long as I've had XP.

it also depends on your colors. my colors are set to a blue on blue theme, and the taskbar is dark blue, so when i get IMed it flashes light blue. why does it matter what color it flashes anyway? just as long as it flashes...
