Wow. You know if your serious you really must not know how horrible hell is. It's worse then I can even explain and its FOREVER.

Although I do not believe that a hell exist, I would most definitely want to go to it. You'll meet much more interesting people than the goody-two shoes up in heaven.

But seriously, I don't care. I probably should, but you just can't tell where you're going to go. I'm almost positive that you'll just be a body decomposing somewhere -if you weren't cremated.

I beleive that all life is a test... When someone dies, they are judged based on the decisions they made during their life...

Sometimes I like to think that when we die our spirit will migrate to another living being and begin a new life, ie reincarnation. Basically our bodies are just a shell that our soul inhabits, and when we die our soul finds a new shell.

A neat theory but who knows that the hell is on the other side.

I agree with Bahamut-X's theory on this one, it's pretty logial if you think about it =P

Since this is critical thinking, please explain the concept of one's mental self existing outside of their physical embodiment and the purpose of the brain, if it is not the same as what is considered a soul.

Well, There's no way im going to be able to explain why I beleive this, but Im beleive once you die your soul comes out of your body and wonders untill Christ comes back. after judgment, your either placed in Heaven, or placed in Hell. This idea is conceived after one considers the thoery of Evolution. I, for one, beleive in a supreme Being, so believing what this Being said in the Bible makes sense to me. (KJV1611 Bible, I dont settle for less)

That brings me to another question. If the universe exists because a supreme being created it, then how did this supreme being come to exist?

Of course we dont know how the Being become. (but then we only use 10% of are brains so that makes sense )

The way I look at it, we didnt know how babies were made or how sex works untill we're told by our perents, This Being simply doesnt think it's time to explain. Same way our perenting system works (unless your moms a whore or somthing, THEN you probably know from a young age...)

Catholic view: Just stay faithful, and you have better chances of going to heaven.

reach, you really need to read the book "what happens after we die," written by a doctor who did studies on NDE's (Near death experiences). It's interesting to note how so many people have very similiar experiences when clinically dead or near death. they usually see a long tunnel with a bright light at the end, and see their dead relatives and friends. and they seem them selves being operated from the ceiling. Even blind people who have been blind their whole life, have these and for the first time actually see when they are clinically dead. "clinically dead," i mean that the brain is totally dead and the body has stopped working, there is usually about a 30 minute window where there is a slight chance for a restart. anyways, i strongly suggest the book based on seeing your views.

Oh my goodness! Such an amazing book! I haven't read it, but I've seen excepts from it, and I want to read it very much. While I cannot remember word for word what was in the book, here is a basic overview of one of the more interesting chapters.

A doctor had an appointment with a patient for an heart stress test. He had the patient on a treadmill, and he was beginning to walk, when suddenly his heart completely failed. He took two more breaths, and died. The doctor and nurses immediately began CPR. The heart, however, would not begin beating on its own, and it was obvious the patient needed a pacemaker. The patient woke up for a moment with a contorted face and dilated pupils. He began to scream "I'm in Hell! Don't stop, keep me away from there!" The doctor, frightened, stopped CPR. The patient stopped breathing and fell dead again. The doctor immediately resumed CPR. He was bewildered, as usually a patient, upon coming back to life, would yell for the doctor to stop, as he would likely have a broken rib or two, but the doctor could see that he had been suffering far worse than a few broken ribs could ever account for. After four more such deaths and revivals, the patient asked the doctor to pray for him. The doctor had been a stoic atheist until that time, but he knew that this person needed prayer. He prayed, and had the man repeat after him, "Lord Jesus, forgive this man. If he dies, allow him into Heaven, and if he lives, he will dedicate his life to you." The man soon after stayed alive and was taken to a hospital.

The next day, the doctor came to interview the patient. He said, "When you were in Hell, what did you see? Flames? Did you see Satan?" The man replied, "What do you mean? I wasn't in Hell." The memories had been so painful and so vivid that his mind had literally purged them, or at least tucked them away deep inside. The man, however, remains a solid Christian to this day.

God was always there no one created Him. if you whant to you can Pm me and I'll tell you more about Genises(Ive read through it) its easyer to under stand this stuff once youve read the Bible(mostly Genises its the foundation of the Bible)

you may think hell is just some place but its contenuos tortour for enterinty!
its some place you would want to stay clear of.
