Head over to the FFR Batch Forum for all the details on how you can get your file into the game. The Artist Permissions forum section will help you find out if FFR has permission to use the song your file goes with.
well, to me, both payons have just been these retarded repetitive patterns of 32nds at 90 bpms surrounded by shit easy notes. aperson has a lot of articulation in all of his dwi's, the patterns work superbly, and his syncing is unmatched. sure, classic 8 had a lot of bpm changes making it hard to sync, but when it comes down to just the quality of a dwi and the way it flows, i see aperson as the best dwi artist. you haven't made your "corrections" public, therefore i have no idea why this dwi is given a 7/10 from you. but i see nothing wrong with it. when the syncing is perfect and it flows, the rest is up to the person who plays it. at its best, dwi making really does become an art.
uh
Arch has a lot of dwi's besides payon. The payons are supposed to be stupid.
Reach: there was this bee. i hate bee\'s...i tryed to kill it, but then it didn\'t die and it started making weird noises so i was like oh (#$% hes gonna sting me. i started running but i triped over some rock and rolled down a hill into the river.
then i guess sync is all about feel, because to me the beats feel dead on. aperson dwi's are the only hard ones ive aaa'ed or came close to aaa'ing.

like what, besides the "jokes" that are either retarded songs or songs that have been dwi'ed, then either compressed or expanded? i have yet to see a good 800+ step dwi from arch with perfect sync and good flow, it seems like every month he comes out with a "much anticipated" thingeh.
maybe im wrong. maybe dwi's are black and white, like it's either right or wrong.

I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.
how do you say you haven't seena good sync'd 800+ stepfile from arch then turn around and say it doesn't have to be 800 or more steps??.. and im not going to sit here and deffend arch with stepfiles hes made because i will leave that up to him if he feels its necessary to prove you wrong.. so don't try and use some gay logic on how come i couldn't provide any songs, because it was of my own choice, not because he didnt have any...
RAVEnHEXa: Lip ring is because I want to be a professional piercer.
87x: more like.. professional goth.
i meant a song of decent length with good steps, im not saying it has to be 800 or more.
Wtf? Now you turn around and set a different requirement and say it has to be decent length? A lot of my songs are around 1:30 or so which is the perfect song length. Good god, stop posting.
His saying 800 steps was a roundabout number, signifying that he was going for the understood "semi-long" song that he later clarified - to go on about it shows your defense to his critiques are minimal. Another thing that shows this is how you're trying to tell him to stop posting for voicing his opinion, quite sad in my eyes.
You aren't the master of step, Arch - you aren't the best player, and you aren't the best step file artist. I wonder, do you feel you are due to the time you've been making them? The time you've been immersed in step, ddr, ffr, etc? The time you've spent posting here, attempting to gain respect and an elevated position in such a community?
That said, you've really no right to tell people to stop posting, or to accuse them of not knowing what they're talking about. What he said made perfect sense to me at least, you make the highest percent of horrible files out of any step artist that I've a number of songs from. You may be thinking that you make many, therefore your percentage is innately higher than those who haven't made the number you have. However, that is incorrect, your steps are not very original, the music choice is extremely poor, the steps usually follow "easy pointless steps, block of retarded steps, easy pointless steps, block of retard steps, easy pointless steps, inane jackhammers," then either one fails or is confronted with more of the above pattern, maybe a twist and the retard block will be doubled or trippled in length. At any rate, to sum up my opinion on this matter, your steps aren't creative at all, they lack pattern diversity, your music choice is poor, and your gross use of jackhammers and blocks of crap are just sickening to play.
I've been around here for a while, and I've played many of your songs - a lot of people know how much I hate playing them, and usually they agree with me but either are lying to me, or to you when they post comments. I guess you'll find gain in their lying or belaying the truth in order they not hinder any respect they may get from you.
