PART 2 NOW AVAILABLE IN ARCADE AS WELL. Expect parts 3, 4, and 5 later this week. We felt that since all 5 parts were 1 song, they should all be released as part of the same Song of the Week. So enjoy this week…

Because it would render timing, an integral part of this game, completely irrelevant.

If the song was something like MSWGO, which would be effectively impossible to FC on FFR, I could understand, since PA would be irrelevant anyway...but something that's going to be FC'd by multiple people cannot ignore PA. Period.

Alright I see where your coming from with that, and after this post I don't think I'll be making any more defenses for this idea, but if all parts of the song are in game in 5 chunks (which would be PA dependant) would it be such a horrible thing if there were a bonus song of the year type version of this song that maxes out at a FC?

I had to cheat to play it because it was not available.

Awesome either way. I actually caught some video game songs this time. I really liked the simulated pause during the Tetris theme. That was good. Stepping, like the last one was excellent. Perfect balance of difficulty for fun for me, although I know parts that are challengingly fun for me must be stupidly easy for others.

EDIT: ps you broke the home page for people without huge resolutions with that line thing in the news post.

there are 2 pretty damn obvious games in part 2... not sure if there is any other game in there, but i don't think there is.
