Nailing down an Ignition 3.0

I have an Ignition 3.0 dance pad carpet taped to a piece of plywood. If I were to nail the pad down to flatten it out, would that mess up the sensors?

I think this one's a little out of whack. If you can full combo 3 FGO songs, you should be able to FC way more that 5 FMO songs. I can FC 5 For Masters only songs, but I'm nowhere near 330 FC's,...
