With a few metric tweaks (experementing)

It's still very buggy and unstable. But stable enough to play

4.0 noteskins do work with the build

Update: A new SVN build is being compiled at this moment. Expecting a release in maybe a week or so, With shakesodas updated optical v2 theme. (((DEFAULT THEME MAY STILL BE BROKEN.. SO DON'T USE IT)))

Dark metal & cel ITG noteskins (SM 4.0)

These Noteskins were included in ITG 43V3R theme.
Decided to port them to the latest build of 4.0 (not really a port just switched the images. lawl)

Doublepost: SM3.95 uses .xml theming system
while 4.0 uses LUA. with .XML. It has limits on what you can do to make a theme.
.LUA has alot more freedom to build themes

lmao wtf? how is 3.95 better? considering the fact that it's a 4 year old build, and it uses a garbage theming system. 4.0 IS STILL IN BETA! 4.0 isnt even officially released yet.

Yes. 3.95 was only for use for online play. even tho it's complete garbage in anything else (lawl). though i dont know why people use an unofficial build that the stepmania team didn't even bother...

The new default theme is to "welcome" new stepmania players. Theres a reason why shakesoda made the optical theme. lawl. the default theme is nowhere near complete. not even 50% done.

This build includes Shakesoda's Optical theme (also in beta)

uhh... 4.0 uses a new theming system .LUA
while 3.95 uses .XML
3.95 ITG noteskins don't animate using D3D (unless 2D)
4.0 ITG noteskins work both with D3D and OGL
4.0 is still in its early stage....

SM 3.95 is most likely garbage.
If you want to use an ITG theme use openITG
Its a more stable version of 3.95 with an ITG theme
or just use SM 3.9 plus redux. it support rolls
