I think you're missing a couple of good ones such as allegory, ellipsis, hyperbole, synecdoche, metonymy, etc. Also the 3 main basic types of rhetorical appeals; ethos, pathos, logos.

I haven't watched it, but a couple of my friends told me it was scary as anything.

communism is definitely not the way to help ease the worldwide poverty, in fact it causes a harmful domination over the poor ( ie. government vs. individuals ).
