But think about it. If it never comes up in conversation, and you're not a VT - plus being inexperienced with the game - how would you know about VT/Vanilla Town? It's not exactly a common phrase...

Kappa was the Cop, but never told Subaru what VT meant, just that so-and-so is a regular Town. He checks Charu N1 and reveals that he's a Mason which leads to that kill overnight, but...
