I wouldn't be so sure about that. MM are planning to release a Linux version of the Flash IDE. Maybe they plan to also improve the Linux Flash players performance.

I'm no Linux user (or fan) but...

Something like a bar progress indicator? It shouldn't be too hard to implement. It may cause some CPU lag on older systems so having it as an option is a good...
